6 1 This is a photograph of the clickamin Pictish Brough, which ean be seen just outside Lerwick on Shetland.

62 The Pictish Brough, which is on the island of Mousa, is the best preserved in Shetland because of its situation off share from Sandwiek.

63 The St. Magmis Bay Hotel is one of the best hotels in Shetland. It is situated at Hillswick, on the rnain land miles from Lerwick.

64 This is a typical craft house. It is situated in the parish ofDunrossness, and is a show house, open to the public.

65 Seals are quite a cornman view in Shetland and can aften be seen fishing in the harbour of Lerwick.

66 This C]. Williamson's card is of a yaung seal, obviously photographed out of the water.

67 This 'Birds ofShetland' card was taken by Mr. W Kay, a well-known local photographer.

68 Great Skua is called a 'Bonxie' in Shetland and is the largest of the Skua family. With its 23 inches it is a very powerful bird which 'pirates' food from other birds.
